Building Materials, Paint & Industrial Materials

Plaster (Tosa Shioyakihai Shikkui Neri Tanaka Kabe)

Manufacture: Tanaka Sekkai Kogyo Co., Ltd.

Photo source: Tanaka Sekkai Kogyo Co., Ltd.

By blending cellulose nanofibers into the plaster, the occurrence of fine cracks during drying was reduced. When the water evaporates, the calcium hydroxide particles may aggregate and crack, but the addition of CNF suppresses drying shrinkage and increases the tensile strength of the entire material, so the cracks are suppressed.

RUBURI® (Preceding agent for ready-mixed concrete pumping)

Manufacturer: TAKE cite Co., Ltd.

Conventionally, when pumping ready-mixed concrete, a leading mortar was used, but RUBURI® was developed as a leading agent to replace it. Utilizes the thixotropic property of cellulose nanofibers. In addition to shortening the pumping start time, the mortar transport mixer truck is no longer required, and the amount of waste has been reduced by more than 80%.

Obis (Coating Agent to prevent concrete adhesion)

Manufacturer: TAKE cite Co., Ltd.

Normally, waste hydraulic oil, light oil, grease, etc. are applied to the hopper to prevent concrete from adhering to the hopper of the pump truck. As a result, water, concrete and oil were mixed, causing deterioration of concrete quality and environmental pollution. This product replaces the oil used so far and does not use oil. By using cellulose nanofibers, dripping does not occur and it also contributes to improving the strength of concrete.
